It’s that time of the year again, and we would like to invite you to join us for our Annual Potjie Kos Lunch (Slow cooked Lunch).
It will be a day filled with fun, fellowship, and food. The day will also double up as the official 2020 closing for our Kids Church Ministry with a special awards ceremony planned for the kids, as well as fun and games to follow.
Some of you may be wondering… what is Potjie Kos?
Potjie Kos is a traditional South African dish that is loved by all!
It is basically a hearty meal slow cooked for a few hours over hot coals.
If you’ve never had it before, don’t miss this!
And if you have a bit of a competitive flair, we have good news for you …
Every member will be able to vote for their favourite Potjie, and a winner will be announced at the end of the day.
Bring a dish to share:
If you would like to put your hand up to make a potjie please let us know. Alternatively you can contribute by bringing rice, bread, mielie pap, or salad to share. Please contact the church office and let us know if you are able to bring a dish to share by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
