We would like to invite you to our annual Potjiekos (Stew) Sunday!
It will be a great day filled with fellowship, food and a whole lot of fun and games for the kids and youth.
If this will be you first time attending, you may be wondering ‘What is Potjiekos?’
Potjie Kos is a traditional South African dish that is loved by all.
It is basically a hearty meal slow cooked for a few hours over hot coals.
If you’ve never had it before then we highly recommend you come along!
Want to make a Potjie?
On top of the good food and fellowship, we like to throw in a bit of friendly competition.
Every attendee will be able to vote for their favourite pot, and a winner will be announced at the end of the day.
Bring a dish to share
If you would like to bring a potjie/stew (and participate in some friendly ‘foodie’ competition) then let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We also need a few side dishes on the day such as:
- Mielie pap
- or salad
If you would like to bring a dish to share, please let us know.

There will be a jumping castle, face-painting and games for the kids on the day, as well as games for the youth.
